AIR 6000 Central Office Air Dryer

The AIR 6000 was designed for the telecommunications industry to use as an indoor central office system for pressurizing small and intermediate cable and antenna systems. In small offices where a backup is desired, the dryer can take the place of two air dryers and a transfer panel (the unit is basically two model 4200 air dryers and a transfer panel built into one cabinet). The dryer utilizes a reliable industry proven heatless type drying system and is engineered to reduce maintenance and servicing costs by eliminating or reducing the wear on critical components. Superior performance and long life is attained by incorporating these design features:

 
  • High flow cooling fans to reduce heat build-up in the compressor box.
  • Reliable oil less compressors to assure oil-free air at all times.
  • Slide out compressor base design reduces the time to service and maintain compressors.
  • Reliable solid-state control board handles all functions of the air dryer and reporting of alarms. Conditional alarms eliminate reporting of nuisance alarms.
  • Solid-state timers offer longer and more reliable operation than mechanical versions.
  • Low voltage DC valves to increase component reliability and eliminate chatter.
